"Uh... a what?" Naea's eyebrow shot up as Pierce began moving through her cupboards. "You can't be serious." She had to wonder if the brandy was getting to him instead of her. "Pierce, I love ya, but it's a chill. The night has not been spectacular..." But didn't she believe in an afterlife, too? She'd thought often that Mama came to visit her, so who was to say Pierce was wrong?
"I'm not panicking, but I admit, this is really kind of weird." A brush of hair away from her eyes. "Why does it have to be a ghost? Don't spirits do the same thing when they visit?" Surely her father wouldn't come here. Did he even know where she lived?
