Daniel/Chris/Kal - sitting area - 7:30 p.m.
"I could definitely say the same, but, then again, there's that whole elevator incident," Chris replied, having seated himself halfway through Daniel filling his glass with nearly the entire contents of his flask. He filled his mouth with a piece of grilled vegetable shish kabob, gnawing at it lightly for a moment. "As for what you did to deserve it, who knows... The evening's young, there's time for you make up for things." The words were teasing, and not at all hinting at expectation beyond getting a rise out of the other man.
Chris took a moment to cast his gaze out over the pool, taking in the surroundings and noting who was in attendance and who was not. As his eyes fell on a particular redhead, his grin tempered, remembering what he had to do and realizing now was a good opportunity as her dark-haired companion stood, said something, and then made her way toward another person who'd just arrived on the scene.
But there was no need to hurry. Chris spotted Kal coming in through the rec room doors, and left the kabob hanging from his mouth for a moment as he waved at his friend, luring him over toward where he and Daniel sat.
