Re: Isobel/Alice - Food Table - 7:05 p.m.
Isobel nodded slowly, chewing the remnants of her food as she followed Alice's explanations. Nish looked familiar, somehow, but Jocelyn didn't; she found herself growing frustrated with herself, at this strange idea that she was an outsider looking in through a window to what should have been her own life. That anger let itself out in a sigh.
"Thanks," she quickly followed up, not wanting Alice to think she was irritated with her. "Just... None of this is making any sense. I was doing some reading too, and... I still can't believe I don't remember anything. I have no idea what could've caused this." A chip cracked between her fingers, and she put the plate down before she made a bigger mess. "I'm sorry I dragged you to this. I thought it would help."
Silence filled by the low volume music fell between them as Isobel turned the various faces over and over in her mind. She remembered Alice mentioning that people in the building were experiencing strange dreams; that was related to the mental realm, and maybe it would provide some clues. If anything, it was something else they could talk about, at the very least.
"You said, before, that people were having strange dreams? About deities? Do you know if I ever had one?"
