“No, thank you. I don’t need anything right now.” She slung the hammer casually over her shoulder as she moved in to his new place. Her pretty yellow bowed pumps stepped over this box and that pile of unpacked belongings. “Just tell me what you want me to do. Then when we’re done you shall accompany me for that coffee and pie. I have a hankering you see and I won’t take no for an answer.”
