If Momo forgot about the issue and never brought it up again, Pierce certainly wouldn't mind. He would talk about it when she was ready, if she was ready. Until then, he would wait patiently and he decided all of this on the way toward The End of Her Insomnia.
"Yes, of course," Pierce nodded as they approached the master bedroom, and he flipped on the light switch. The bathroom was connected to the room so she could always leave a night light on in there too if she wanted. There was an extra toothbrush in there as well. "I'm just down the hall. I won't go anywhere, I promise, " he said as he opened a dresser drawer and tossed her a shirt she could swim in, just in case. Really, she needed to sleep.
"Go to sleep, love, remember that they don't control you - you control them." The shadowy figures, of course. Then he hugged her briefly, a gentle squeeze. It was caring, but not smothering. Now he would let her rest.
