“Mirror brother? Do I even want to know?” The newcomer’s voice was clear and amused, coming in first before she finally was at the table. Cassie walked in as casually as she was dressed, flip flops, jean shorts and a green tanktop with pink bikini straps peeking out from underneath to tie around her neck. The hoodie hanging around her waist was almost out of place but she figured it was a good precaution. That rain had come out of nowhere and she’d hate to be caught in it when she left the restaurant.
“I’m late,” she offered everyone with a sheepish smile, even if she only really knew one person there. She made a beeline to Paul to give him a proper kiss hello and hopefully someone would have mercy on her and give her a recap and introductions. “You know how these drivers are. One hint of rain and everyone loses their damn mind on the road.” Honestly, weather was usually sunny but people acted and drove like they’d never seen rain before in their life.
