At first, Lia returned Vince's hug with enthusiasm, kicking up her heels with a laugh as he held her. As he spoke, though, her eyes widened, her brow arched, and when he set her back on her feet, she took a step back to take a look into his face, trying to get a grasp on what he was saying.
Before she could properly respond, Samuel and Brighid had shown up, and she was barely able to arch her brow at Samuel - Sam - took up the seat next to her, bringing Brighid along with him. She smiled warmly at Brighid, and gave Samuel a bit of the side eye before turning to Paul, giving him a questioning look about all this.
"OK," she said. "OK, let's slow down here." She looked at everyone in the room, not really paying much mind to the reflective surfaces yet. When looking at them all face to face, everyone looked just as they normally did. She decided to take Vince's excited declaration as a joke.
"So, the idea of you being a Greek god aside," she laughed lightly, "maybe we should think about what might have cause us all to... see things. Is that right? Are we all noticing differences in our reflections?"
