Naea blushed slightly. She couldn't remember the last time someone was ready to put up the ol' fisticuffs to defend her. She'd been on her own so long and dealt with far worse than a random comment and look that she'd never bothered to pay attention. "Well," she said. "Thank you. I'm not sure I know what else to say." Her smile was mildly shy. Linnaea never blushed. The last time she had was after a sweet compliment David had given her not long after they'd met.
