"Better busy than wanting to stab yourself in the eye out of boredom." She took his arm and suddenly felt very proper, which was kind of nice, deciding to descend the stairs instead of dealing with the elevator. People had been stuck in it, she'd heard, it never landed on the right floor for David, but she had never had an issue with it.
Besides... It felt good to stretch the limbs.
"Just don't work yourself to death. There's no fun in that and life just isn't meant to be without some fun." Naea smiled at his schoolwork question and shrugged slightly. "It's coming. I've never been much of a math whiz, but I'm doing all right. Thankfully I don't have a billion classes left from before, so hopefully I can get all of my credits situated sooner than later. I'd like to be able to quit the diner at some point in my life."
