“Don’t mention it,” she beamed as she took the clipboard back. The urge to give him some sort of sea nickname was high, but she couldn’t think of a good one. Somewhere there was a sea men joke but she wasn’t going to touch it. She held the papers to her chest and with a quick glance to the door, she leaned over and gave him a kiss. Quick and chaste, but she couldn’t resist.
“I’ll see you later,” she promised and strode out the door, still steering clear of all metal surfaces. Just for sanity’s sake.
