She laughed softly as to herself as they walked out of his office, her clipboard still held to her chest, more to keep up appearances that she and Paul were talking about work related things. She kept her eyes trained forward, absolutely refusing to let her gaze stray to something that would show her the weird reflection again. A few people glanced at her as she passed by but she relaxed ever so slightly with each pass. Since there were no screams, she was reassured that the nets hadn't appeared on her head when she wasn't looking.
"What sort of things?" They rounded the corner to the break room, coffee brewed fresh and ready for anyone who wanted. She almost paused but pressed on, figuring that she should at least reveal something since he asked first. "When I look into mirrors," she kept her voice low even though there wasn't anyone in earshot, "my reflection's not... not what it should be." It sounded worse aloud than it did in her head.
