"I doubt they're the only ones," Nate muttered, finishing off his drink and reaching for a second. He didn't make any further comments about that, though, only made his guesses and moved on. There was a better, if rhetorical, question that they'd both just tripped over. "It does seem pretty unlikely that everyone's here, out of nowhere, but I can't give you anything other than far-fetched reasons." Thin strings of logic just barely connected by events and relatively cheap rent.
He paused opening his drink to consider it, then shrugged.
"At least now we've got everybody where we can reach them." Where he, personally, could watch them and keep track of them. For Pierce, of course.
