Nate silently agreed, rubbing his left temple and trying to get rid of that little spike of pain that seemed to want to stick around and make his life difficult. He'd already dealt with the kids once, admittedly when they were too young to even realize where they were; parental responsibility would have to take over at some point, though given what had happened last time, he almost expected David to cut and run.
Would that be so bad? But maybe if they kids were already in their 20s, it would be different.
"Quiet, actually. Hardly said anything during the ride." A real reticent kid, for the most part. "Polite enough, but I don't think he was really in a normal mood when I got him."
