Re: Kate - 7:05pm - Lounge - Percy
She seemed intrigued. At the very least, Kate seemed willing to hold a conversation. Really, that was all the further invitation Percy needed.
"There is. Right this very minute. And both of us are missing it." He looked over at the band playing wholesome love songs, quite a stretch from the cheesy pop music which had sprung from the 90s out of seemingly nowhere. "...but that's why there's TiVo," Percy added. "I had the foresight to record it ahead of time."
Or, rather, Netflix wouldn't let him down.
"Since I'm new in town, I wasn't aware there were other Bolton fans living here." He fixed Kate with a mock-serious frown. "Long or short hair? This is important. We can't be friends if you'd rather have Bolton hairless. But I'll let you in on a little secret--his hair is the source of his true power." Percy leaned in slightly and lowered his voice, lending to the imagined air of the conspiratorial message he wanted to send.
He was generally comfortable making conversation with nearly anyone--Percy didn't typically allow situations to dictate whether or not he was going to say his piece, and, preferably, hear someone speak theirs as well. Blame it on growing up with three older sisters, or perhaps some other odd personality quirk. He'd talk all night if he had the chance, even to a stranger...in this case, a neighbor.
