"I know what you mean," Kate replied, relaxing fully into the conversation. "I work with my family and play that balancing act too." Kate had the flexibility to set her own hours, usually working at least 8 hours a day but not always 9-5. But when a high-profile case came through or the research load piled up, there was a higher pressure to succeed when her entire family's reputation was at stake than if she wasn't invested in Tierney Law from every conceivable angle.
"Having them meet for a walk would let them take out their energy on that instead of each other." Kate nodded, liking the way this plan fell together. "We could wear them out before dinner and then see how they get along off-leash back at the apartment. Did you have a particular night in mind?"
