She saw the look, but wasn't sure of its intention; she passed her drink back to her dominant hand, bobbing her head.
"I'm fine to learn," she said, nodding at the pool table again. "I'm not that great of a liar, and if I'm perfectly honest, I don't really want to be the center of attention like that," she laughed, wishing she hadn't made the suggestion. "I could try practicing on you if you like? At least get our conversation going, though I don't think it's doing too badly so far."
