Carefully balancing a cup of punch and feeling much more amenable after eating a decent helping of avocado dip, Isobel pushed herself away from Obed (though always keeping a lingering eye on him for her own reassurance) and started to branch out throughout the few people who had shown up for the party. She noted one man standing by himself near a window and figured he'd be a safe bet to start with.
"Maybe we should get a game going; it would be a good ice breaker for everyone else?" It was a lame opening, but the best she had in the present moment. Isobel tried on a small smile for size, extending a hand in the man's direction. "Isobel St. Germaine, D3. It's so nice to see that other people do live in this building."
