Daniel's attempt at a smile was steadily turning into a full-fledged pout. He tried, as always, to curb it with action and words. "First off they were zip ties, not handcuffs," he said. "And second--" He looked to BB, smiling wolfishly. "If you get one framed, get a second one for me. That'll look great in my office."
Looking to Aurora, he gestured to the woman wrapped in her embrace. "I took a face full of pepper spray for her, I'll have you know. Didn't even get a thank you for it." He smirked, only half-teasing when he added, "No wonder y'all get along so well."
