Daniel rolled his eyes. "Oh, when she came over, huh?" he asked, glancing sidelong at his newly made acquaintance. A dozen questions floated through his mind, but he was adamant he would voice none of them. "Yeah if you find any liquor I could definitely use it. The pyro comment wasn't hyperbole, though. She very literally set fire to my stuff." That it had been at least partially deserved was not, to Daniel's mind, worth mentioning. "But whatever. That was years ago."
He sighed, then, and some of his pointy edges smoothed out when he addressed Aurora again. "It is good to see you, Aurora," he admitted. "So how do y'all know each other?"
