Elevator to Rec Room, 5:50 p.m. - Obed
Isobel tugged at Obed's shirt in the elevator, using the excuse of straightening out any wrinkles (of course which there were none) to keep her hand on his side. They were headed toward the housewarming event, both dressed in business casual even after a long workday.
"I hope 'food provided' means actual food and not just...I don't know, fish sticks. I don't know if we have anything in the fridge upstairs to make after this," she commented as her belly grumbled about not having eaten. Of course their fridge was well-stocked, but it was all fresh ingredients that would require preparation and time to cook. Isobel refused frozen meals because of their sodium levels. She frowned, glasses slanting as her head titled, finding another "wrinkle" and smoothing upward to eventually straighten his collar.
"Have you met any of the neighbors, yet? I did meet at least one on our floor, a nice woman named Kate. She came over to thank me for the flowers I left her. I think you two would get along nicely."
