Re: Near the Pool Entrance, 6:05 p.m. - Daniel/Aurora
Aurora's agent and PR team had long since tried to stop her perhaps out of date, diva-esque belief that it was always better to arrive just a little late than on time or heaven forbid early. There was a fine art to events, whether it was award ceremonies or black tie fundraising ones that she had honed like a sharp knife (because anything could be a weapon, including--especially-- a pretty face).
She had chosen a cute little number, great for pool parties and fitting the level of formal for this gathering. The night was going well already in the last five minutes, she had turned just enough heads and gotten the right amount of attention (flattering looks, appreciative gazes, handshakes and promises to talk better later on but nothing stifling) when she heard two familiar voices.
"I think I saw a sitcom like this once." She muttered to herself before approaching both Daniel and BB, who she hadn't spoken to since... New Years? Right! New Years, she had called him from one of her favorite Blue Lounge's before he could text her just because he knew she still didn't like texting and was more likely to get worked up if he made her try and do it while she was drinking.
"Hello Gorgeous!" Aurora opened her arms to BB like they were old friends and she hadn't seen her in weeks before looking to the other, "And Daniel! What a small world!" More subdued and falsely surprised, but with an affectionate smile he would recognize that contrasted it.
