Daniel blinked, plainly not ready for this energetic assault. He pushed away from where he had been leaning against the wall, then took a bolstering sip of what was, disappointingly, a virgin mixed drink retrieved from the punch bowl. He looked over her, recognizing her at once, but making no effort to hide his surprise at seeing her. He utterly ignored her insistence that he had struck first; where Daniel was concerned, his opponent's insistence on being a Nazi in public was provocation enough. Any attacks on such persons was simple self defense, regardless of who swung first.
"Yeah, I got it sorted out the next morning," he said. "Community service, blah blah blah." He shrugged. "What about you? And way more importantly, what are you doin' here? You live here or just stalkin' me?"
