By the Snack Table, 6:03 p.m. - Nish/Daniel
Chris chewed on his pepperoni bread, one of many items stacked circularly on the paper plates that had been provided for the party. He watched, wincing only slightly as he recognized Daniel's entrance into the party, but lingering near the seeming protection of Nish as he hoped others would soon fill the space. He looked back to the lawyer-turned-friend, over his initial surprise of finding her living in the same apartment complex.
"Food's pretty good, don't you think?" He'd at least swallowed before he spoke, but his fingers were already reaching for a piece of bread with a large slice of brie on it. "Not bad, considering. I guess this place does clean up well, if give half a chance. Did I tell you about how the elevator broke down the other day, with me inside it?"
