Well. This was certainly an interesting turn of events. And it wasn't a coincidence. Pierce knew that David's long-forgotten children were living in the same building he was living in (this would be brought up to Nate as soon as possible even though he didn't blame Nate - it wasn't his fault) and therefore were close by, but to put a face to the name? In a graveyard? It was unexpected, but not unwelcome. Mostly he was just surprised. He didn't expect her to look so much like David. But what the hell was she doing here? A girl her age shouldn't be hanging out in cemeteries alone.
"Both are lovely names," he said. "Why the selection? And I absolutely need my morning coffee before I smile. Some days I need to add rum and chocolate syrup to it as well."
