Aurora hadn't been lying when she had told the younger woman she had all kinds of sugar, for someone who didn't have many excuses to bake except when she was having guests she had lots of baking things. Possibly because she liked to be prepared, and because she liked to spoil herself. But the girl's recipe sounded like the most common sort so she grabbed a bag--still the fancy organic kind but normal sugar--changed into a sundress that flattered her but could get messy without her whining about it too much and some matching casual slippers.
It was supposed to be in the upper 60's today, which would be nice, especially because her hair and makeup already fit the day.
She cast a quick smiling glance at the flowers on her windowsill that her neighbor had left her; she was very much liking this place so far. A cute girl downstairs, polite people down the hall with wonderful taste in floral compositions to boot. Not to mention the familiar voice she was pretty sure she heard the day she moved in.
A quick ride in the elevator and she was knocking on BB's door, bag in hand less than fifteen after their conversation. Never underestimate a performer's ability to get ready quickly.
