Bedroom Hymns
Who: Juliet & Nathaniel
What: Passions burn bright even in the dead of winter.
Where: Juliet’s apartment.
When: Dec 25th, 7:30 p.m.
Notes: NSFW
Juliet put the last of the pans into the sink, making sure to keep herself busy because as soon as she allowed her mind to wander, her hands would start to shake from anxiety. Dinner was prepared and ready to be served, the plates and cutlery placed on a table alight with candles, she herself dressed to the nines; all that was missing was her date.
Her mother had a fit when she’d told her that she wasn’t coming home for Christmas. Juliet reasoned that she’d seen them for Thanksgiving, and would come home for New Years - she wanted to spend just one holiday with her new boyfriend. And the moment she’d dropped that little word, well, all hell broke loose. Mrs. Blackwater had demanded to know who he was, how long they’d been dating, to make sure that her daughter wasn’t making the wrong decisions or feeling pressured by him in any way. Juliet had done her best to reassure her parents that things were fine, he was a wonderful man, a doctor (she left out the details about him being a psychiatrist, knowing them smart enough to put the pieces together), and that they’d met upon her moving into her apartment building. She also left out the details of only having been dating for two months - obviously her parents would believe her nothing but a love-struck teenager being controlled by her hormones. There was nothing she could do to explain to them just how she felt about Nathaniel.
In the end, her father had convinced her mother that it was fine; one Christmas missed was not the end of the world, and she would be home for New Years. Tybalt was on the same schedule, unable to break away from work; there was nothing else the Blackwaters could do to corral their errant children. Juliet’s next step had been in inviting Nathaniel over for Christmas dinner; she’d had the whole day to cook the lamb she’d gotten at the grocery store. Grilled lamb with green mint sauce, boiled carrots, and potatoes, gravy to spread over all of it; a bottle of Cabernet Savignon stood at the ready, chilled in a bucket of ice on the dining room table. Nathaniel had mentioned once that it was his favorite meal, and Juliet wanted this evening to go just right; things had gone well since Halloween, incredibly well. Some could even say that their relationship was moving far too quickly for two people who had just met one another a few months beforehand, but Juliet shook off such thoughts. She stood looking over the various offerings in their bowls, steaming and ready to eat, when a knock at the door startled her into movement. Spinning around on her heels, a smile curved her lipstick painted mouth as she headed for her apartment door.
Nathaniel brushed a hand over his suit jacket as he waited outside of Juliet’s door with a bouquet of flowers for his lovely girlfriend. He had been pleasantly surprised that Juliet wanted to spend Christmas at the apartment complex with him and incredibly grateful. He had begun to miss home, this being his first Christmas away (and so very far away at that), he was desiring the company of loved ones and dreading the holiday until Juliet had surprised him with her plans. Now she promised him a dinner and as she opened the apartment door, Nathaniel thought with a smile that she was the present. She always looked beautiful and very put together in whatever she wore but this was even fancier than her usual attire.
“You look so beautiful,” Nathaniel breathed with a boyish smile on his face. “Darling, I have these for you.” He produced the flowers and gave her a small bow, his smile turning into one of amusement. She had a way of making him playful and silly. They had spent the morning at his apartment, exchanging small gifts and Juliet teaching Nathaniel how to make an omelet, but this was the real Christmas treat. They’d gone through a whole carton of eggs, but Juliet had found the process great fun, especially once they were able to successfully complete their meal. She’d gotten him cuff links, and he’d gotten her a beautiful set of earrings. Simple things - mostly they just enjoyed one another’s companies before Juliet had to excuse herself to get dinner started.
Midway through his bow he tipped his head to one side and sniffed. “Do I smell lamb?” His blue eyes searched over her shoulder before looking back at her. “Did you make lamb? It smells wonderful! You’re an absolute wizard in the kitchen.” He closed the distance between them and sought out a kiss from his girlfriend. She smiled into the kiss, rising up eagerly on her tip toes even though her heels made her of an equal height to the Brit. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, then pulled away far enough to take the flowers he was offering her.
“You’re so sweet,” she replied, the smile inextinguishable. “And yes, it’s lamb. I hope you like it, I’ve never cooked lamb before so I hope it came out all right...” Letting her hand slide down his arm, she linked her fingers with his to lead him further into the dimly lit apartment. Leaving him at the dinner table, Juliet went into the kitchen to get a vase for the flowers, quickly setting them up with some water to keep them fresh. Then she began to bring dishes out to the table, setting them around the cutlery and plates in order for them to dig in as they liked. Finally she took a seat across from him, pulling her chair up snugly.
“And there’s potatoes, carrots, and there’s wine. Let me know if the green mint sauce tastes all right. I’m not sure I got the right consistency,” she continued, holding her posture straight as she waited for him to help himself.
Nathaniel was literally salivating. The food looked and smelt delicious. He found it hard to keep a hold of his manners as he reached out and began to serve himself. “It looks wonderful, it smells so delicious, darling. I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to cook quite like you. This is just such a lovely spread.” He paused in his ramblings and looked at Juliet, a smile appearing on his lips and lighting up his face. “You’ve spoiled me. You’ve truly made this feel like home. Thank you so much. This is just... it’s wonderful.”
He reached for her hand, giving it a gently squeeze before he retrieved the wine and made sure to have it open before pouring both himself and Juliet a glass while she served herself. Settling back into his chair he cut through the lamb easily and brought a piece to his mouth, his eyes immediately closing as he savoured the taste. “Darling, I think you cook better than our cook ever did. This is...ah if I knew I was going to die and I could have a final meal, this would be it, hands down.”
“Well, I don’t know how I can compete with an in-house chef, but thank you,” she replied, laughter edging her words. Biting into her own portion of the meal, she watched him eat, especially glad that he found all of her fixings to his liking. Despite her parents mislike of her spending the holiday away from home, Juliet found that there was no where else she would rather be. Reaching forward, she took up her glass and raised it in a toasting gesture.
“Merry Christmas, Nate.” Juliet held out the glass for his, her teeth white against her lipstick as she smiled. Her foot moved forward, sliding the top of her foot along his pants leg and calf.
Swallowing his mouthful of food, Nathaniel lifted his glass of wine and gently tapped it against Juliet’s. “Merry Christmas, darling.” His smile took on something wolfish as he felt her foot running up his leg. They have been taking things a step at a time. When Nathaniel had discovered his biggest worry had been accurate, that Juliet was a virgin, he truly gave Juliet the reigns. She gave the okay for each thing they did in the bedroom and Nathaniel handled it as delicately as possible. But they still hadn’t had sex, which Nathaniel was somewhat sorry for, but also relieved because he wasn’t quite sure how to handle such a situation without psychoanalyzing it.
But he was also entirely human ,and a man, to feel her leg teasingly ride up his leg sent a sensation firing through him. He imagined propping her on the edge of the table and going down on her while she wore that pretty black dress but opted, instead, on sipping his wine with a smirk on his face that he couldn’t quite get rid of. Bringing up what they had been speaking about, Nathaniel tried to take his mind off of what he could be doing to Juliet. “Our in-house chef was an older woman, she’d worked with our family for years. My mother did enough cooking of her own but for any special meal we had her come in. I always felt rather guilty about that...she always had to work on holiday’s. But eventually my father buckled down and allowed her family to come and eat dinner with her in the kitchen area and paid for the extra food. She’s a lovely woman.”
That did the job, the story bringing a frown to his lips as he lowered the wine glass. He loved his life and appreciated the money his family had. But he had often times felt that such extravagances were unnecessary. He was quite happy as it was in his apartment with his new, but not entirely overpriced, car. And he would be thrilled to cook for himself but he never had anyone willing to teach him until he had met Juliet. “Are you enjoying your meal? Does the chef approve of her hard work?”
She’d listened carefully to his story, a smile ever on her lips. “I think I might be a little biased, but yes, I think I did a very good job for my first time.” Another sip of the alcohol left a tingling feeling coursing through her veins, and her foot continued it’s stroking of his leg without any shyness. The wine was helping in that endeavor, though a light blush still rose to her cheeks regardless.
“It would be nice to meet them, some day. Your family, I mean. All your stories make it sound like you grew up in some kind of a fantasy land,” Juliet commented, another sip of wine followed by more food came after the words. Everything was chewed carefully before she spoke again. “I mean, at least compared to my childhood. And I’m sure your family must be as nice as you.” Her foot moved back from his leg, the topic of conversation doing well to douse her invitation. For the moment.
Nathaniel smiled and took a sip of his wine. He was sure his family would rejoice over how normal Juliet was. The fact that she was formerly his patient would probably bother them a little. Not so much that she was his patient but that she needed psychological help at all. They had enough of that when Nathaniel was a patient. But, beside that, he felt that they would appreciate her sweetness and intelligence. She was, by far, a wonderful person.
“I could take you to see Stratford-upon-Avon. We could tour the town and see a play at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.” He paused to eat some more, sad that his plate was quickly clearing and his stomach filling. He could eat the meal all day, at least that’s what his taste buds said. After swallowing, he continued, “We could visit London and then take a train up to Scotland. Anything you wanted, darling. But it would have to be a lengthy vacation if you were willing.” He raised an eyebrow and tipped his wine glass back, finishing its contents before leaning back into his chair.
“Oh, that would be wonderful!” Her excitement caused her to bounce a little in her chair, just imagining a visit to Shakespeare’s hometown, an excursion to the Globe. She placed her silverware on her now-empty plate, the wine potentially filling her up more than the food as she continued to empty her glass. Now that it seemed they were both finished, she stood up from her chair and crooked a finger at her boyfriend. “Come sit with me on the couch? Let our stomachs digest, and we can continue this conversation.”
The move there proved Juliet to be a little gone after the one glass, for her steps were not entirely without hesitation; but she made it to the cushions safely, carefully crossing her legs like any good young lady. Once Nathaniel had plopped down as well, though, she made sure to scoot closer, finding him to be much more comfortable than the furniture. “A lengthy vacation sounds like good therapy, if I do say so,” she continued, her voice attempting a low purr that she wasn’t quite sure she was pulling off correctly, nor did she care.
Nathaniel had found that the further they went in their relationship, the harder it was for him to keep his hands off of his girlfriend. She was soft to touch and so lovely and he was always searching for that feeling he got when he touched her while in that ghostly form, at the bowling alley and during the Halloween party. As soon as he noticed that he felt such, Nathaniel would typically push the idea away. No, of course he wasn’t looking for that sensation; that sensation had never existed. His becoming a ghost of sorts surely didn’t really happen. At least, that was what Nathaniel told himself.
For now, he focused on his beautiful girlfriend as she sat beside him and ultimately grabbed her sides and pulled her onto his lap. Juliet let out a short laugh, moving to wrap her arms around his broad shoulders. Quickly, he buried his face into the crook of her neck and breathed her scent and perfume in. “I promised my mother I would visit her in the summer. Maybe you can go with me,” Nathaniel breathed against her ear before pulling back. “That was a delicious dinner, darling. Thank you so much. This was a wonderful way to spend Christmas.”
Juliet pressed her forehead against Nathaniel’s, her eyes slipping closed for a moment. “That sounds wonderful.” Being pressed to him was making her head spin - or perhaps that was the wine. Either way, her face held a delirious smile, her fingers threading gently through his hair without mussing it too badly. Her breathing slowed for a moment, eyes flickering open to look down into his, though her face was still pressed against his features. Even this close didn’t feel like it was enough; there was something in her that wanted more, even more than the next step in such a relationship. Juliet couldn’t describe the feeling, for it was entirely alien to her.
Slowly, white teeth sank into the flesh of one pouty lip, and her arms tightened around his neck imperceptibly.
“Nathaniel...”
Letting his head fall back so that he could see Juliet clearly, Nathaniel smiled and reached to tuck her dark hair behind her shoulder before running his hand down her back and resting it just at the top of her butt. A wonderful Christmas indeed, Nathaniel couldn’t quite remember the last time he was so happy while in a relationship. Only very early on in his relationship with Elinor were things good like this. But then this...this was just right. “Yes, darling?”
Her breath held for a moment, the words hovering on the tip of her tongue. Never did it seem like a better time to say such a thing, though she still found butterflies of anxiety bubbling in her stomach. But the alcohol smoothed those away, making her sure that there would be no fallout from what she was about to do.
“I love you,” she whispered, the tiniest of smiles curving her mouth as her eyes watched for his reaction, just knowing he would feel the same way.
Nathaniel’s mouth opened with surprise and he blinked once before realizing that she was expecting him to say something back. “I love you too, darling,” Nathaniel replied simply. It wasn’t so much that he had lied. He did care for Juliet, he felt for her and wanted her to be happy and feel protected, but he certainly wasn’t in love with her. Not yet. But maybe someday in the future, at least if things continued as they were he felt that it was possible.
Leaning forward, Nathaniel gave her a quick kiss and smiled, hoping he had done the right thing. Any hesitation that might have threaded through his words was lost to the sudden joy that blossomed in Juliet’s mind. Her smile widened, and she pressed a harder kiss on him, fingers entwined firmly in his hair. It was amazing how things were falling out so well ever since she had moved away from home - almost finished with school, had a job she enjoyed and her own apartment, and last but certainly not least, her own Prince Charming. She had just known that things would be fine if she were allowed to live on her own, and what more proof did she need than this?
Mind addled by the alcohol, she felt no embarrassment at all in sliding her tongue into his mouth, her legs squeezing together as deeper sensations made themselves known. Nathaniel received her kiss and allowed his tongue to mingle with hers. Over the past month they had learned how to kiss one another with ease and a lack of most of the hesitation that they previously had. They worked well together, molding into one another, and experimented here or there. Juliet was shy and inexperienced but Nathaniel had been patient as she chose the speed of their actions.
Now, as before, it was in her control as she pressed into Nathaniel and he mirrored her actions happily. His hands wandered on her hips, his fingers sliding down the front of her skirt and slowly beginning to slip under so that his hand could travel up her leg. Even still, he made these moves cautiously so that if she wanted him to go no further, all she had to do was stop his hand. If she wanted him to continue, she would at times urge him on. Nathaniel didn’t mind, he was happy to have her in his arms and touching her body. She had been a beautiful and delicious thing to look at since the moment she had answered her apartment door.
Juliet shivered from the touch of his hand on her skin, especially as it moved toward more private areas. Rather than condemn the action, though, her own appendage descended on his, staying abreast of her dress, and encouraged it to move along her leg. Perhaps the wine was making her bold, or she was invigorated from his three words; regardless, she was in no mood to slow down what they were starting just then. Fingers that had been grasping his hair unfurled to draw nails lazily along his scalp, her mouth continuing to work at his as his touch drew out goosebumps on her flesh.
Nathaniel obeyed Juliet’s silent command and slid his hand further up her bare legs. His fingertips brushed over her panties, lace, from what Nathaniel could tell. She had always worn such lovely undergarments when they had romps in the bedroom that he wasn’t surprised.
Pulling away from her eager lips, he brought his to her neck and made his way down her throat as a finger from his free hand teased under the lining of her dress, the other brushing over her breasts. He’d have to pull away soon, he could feel himself growing hard and it was always so painful to get so turned on by her, only to have to stop. Silently, he hoped she wanted more. He hoped she’d opt to play in the bedroom as they had before. At least that would bring some relief but for now he was slowly getting lost in his desire for her.
Juliet craned her neck, a small moan giving praise to his movements. But before he could go further, though, she pushed back at his shoulders and wobbly got to her feet, leaving Nathaniel looking confused.
“Not here,” she whispered, lacing her fingers through his and gently pulling him to his feet. A coquettish smile invited him to follow her, and he did, as she lead back through her small dining room and down the short hall to her bedroom. Once they crossed the threshold, Juliet turned to lead Nathaniel forward as her steps carefully found themselves looking backward. Pulling him into her arms once more, she kissed him, continuing to lead as they drew closer to her neatly made bed.
“I have another present for you, if you want it,” she whispered, her cheeks instantly coloring as the words left her lips. Her limbs trembled, but she stood fast in his arms, right at the edge of her bed.
Nathaniel slowly glanced to the bed and then, just as slowly, brought his blue eyes back to his girlfriend. The blush on her cheeks and the “other present” became clear. He wanted to. Badly. He had thought of it plenty of times but now when faced with the option of getting what he wanted, he grew concerned for Juliet. Gently holding her hands in his, drawing small circles on her smooth skin with his thumbs, he looked directly at her and after a moments pause he spoke. “Are you sure? Darling, we don’t have to if you aren’t sure.”
“Oh, I’m sure,” she replied, her brows rising and then settling before her mouth sought his out again. “I want you to do it, no one else.” Juliet pulled him toward the bed again, one arm trying to hook around to the back of her dress to unzip it. When that failed, she finally had to remove herself from Nathaniel, giving herself the space to undo her garment, letting the shoulders slump forward around her body but not entirely fall away. There was still some decorum in her, enough to make her nervous about entirely disrobing in front of someone who wasn’t immediate family. Kicking her shoes off, she slid onto the bed on her knees, a hand reaching out for Nathaniel’s to pull him along.
“I...I bought condoms. I wasn’t sure...what size so...” The blush on her cheeks darkened just a little, but the smile didn’t disappear. There was nothing that could ruin this evening, absolutely nothing.
Nathaniel calmly hid his ecstatic response and followed Juliet, sitting down on the bed gently and reaching to brush his hands through her hair. His eyebrows still rose with slight amusement. “I’m sure what you bought would be fine. We can go through this slowly, all right? And if you feel like you suddenly don’t want to do it anymore, just say so, we’ll stop. No pressure.”
He ran his hand up and down her arm before beginning to remove his suit jacket. He got to his feet, draping it over a chair Juliet had in her room, and balanced on a foot to remove his shoes as well before returning to the bed. Sinking down onto the soft sheets he reached for his girlfriend, wrapping his hand around the back of her head, and kissed her as his free hand went to her dress and slowly began to work at removing it. She gave no resistance, letting the dress be peeled away until she was left in her bra and panties, both a crisp white against the parchment color of her skin. Her hands went to his dress shirt, undoing the buttons slowly. Each movement was careful, but her hesitation was gone through trust and perhaps a bit too much to drink.
Mouth moving back to his as the shirt came away, she pushed it from his shoulders to fall over his arms, revealing a well-toned chest that she loved to run her hands over. Next were the pants, and here her fingers began to stumble a little, but it was the alcohol rather than any sudden lack of desire. Juliet laughed, a small giggle, but the fly came undone, revealing boxers beneath the dress pants.
Nathaniel smiled softly as he reached for his pants, slipping them off and dropping them to the floor with Juliet’s dress. He slipped off his socks but left his boxers on. “Come,” Nathaniel whispered as he slid Juliet further onto the bed and crawled after her to lay beside her thin, pale body. Cupping her face with his hand, he pressed his lips to hers, their chests brushing against one another and their legs beginning to tangle. Dropping one hand, he slid it down the side of her body before resting it on her hip and sliding his fingers underneath her underwear.
Her fingers hesitantly moved over his form, exploring what she had seen a handful of times before -- hours spent to make her relaxed and comfortable with him in such a setting, time well spent to create a path to such an event. Skin prickled with gooseflesh, her breath hitching slightly as his hand wandered lower; but her legs only shifted in encouragement, knowing and wanting what he was about to do. It was all just a precursor, and she trusted that he knew what to do, how to make her relax and, in the longer run, cause his entrance to be less painful.
Pushing up with his free arm, Nathaniel slipped his hand under her underwear and between her legs. His thumb found her clit as his other fingers pushed into her; Juliet squirmed, just a little, a soft cry breaking free from her throat. He bit at her bottom lip as he climbed on top of her, supporting himself with his knees; one leg between hers, another on the side. He felt for her breasts and kept to kissing her lips before whispering into her ear. “Would you like to remove your bra or shall I?” Always cautious, always wanting to make sure she felt that she was in control.
“I can,” she replied, her hands releasing his shoulders to undo the front hook of her bra.It slipped away, and she wriggled under him to pull it off entirely. The motion forced her to arch her back, presenting her breasts in what she would normally consider an obscene manner, but Juliet was far too distracted by Nathaniel’s attentions to suddenly worry about propriety. Her hips shifted, moving against his hand as he worked her, Juliet’s teeth digging into the soft flesh of her lower lip. “Oh, damn,” she swore, her eyes fluttering.
Nathaniel let out a small laugh. The number of times Juliet had ever cursed in front of him was few and far between. “Damn” was one of the few words she used and it always amused him. Pushing his fingers within her, feeling that she was already wet, his mouth went to her breasts and sucked at her hardening nipples. Her body was ready but he wasn’t sure if Juliet was. “Darling,” Nathaniel breathed as he pulled his mouth away. “Are you...do you....”
“Yes, yes,” she replied, body undulating softly. “The...the condoms are...the nightstand...” Despite feeling confident from her drinking, she still couldn’t help but shed a little anxiety in her voice, but she struggled to remain brave simply to see this through. Juliet had never considered her virginity to be any sort of bane or weight -- she had simply been waiting for the right man, and now believed she had found him. His desire to make sure she was comfortable with what was going on only soothed her and enforced that earlier belief.
“All right, darling,” Nathaniel said softly, withdrawing his hand from her and sitting up on the bed. He reached for the nightstand, withdrawing a box of condoms (amidst three, all of various sizes) and quickly slipped off his boxers. Slipping the condom into place, he turned back to his girlfriend and looked directly into her green eyes. Slowly, giving her the opportunity to say no, he slid off her underwear and dropped it to the floor. She hadn’t said no, not yet, and Nathaniel positioned himself over her but didn’t press in. “Are you all right, sweets?”
Her hands settled on either side of his face, thumbs running over his cheekbones. “Yes, I’m fine, just fine, Nate.” Her expression shifted into a smile, eyes searching his while her body adjusted itself to his. “I want you, Nate. I love you.”
Nathaniel didn’t reply but took in a deep breath, focusing on what he was about to do as he positioned himself and pushed Juliet’s legs apart further than they already were. He had never taken someone’s virginity and he honestly felt nervous. “It may hurt, a little,” Nathaniel whispered, looking at Juliet with anxious eyes. “If it does, if you want me to stop or if you want me to go slower, anything...just tell me.” He gave a questioning nod, which she responded to with an acknowledging smile, and then gently, slowly, he began to push into her.
He didn’t make it far until he let out a near whimpering sigh. She felt wonderful and fit like a glove. Tightly wrapping around his member as he pushed further in, bit by bit, but keeping his eyes on Juliet the whole while to make sure she showed no displays of pain. For her, it was an uncomfortable sensation, and her legs parted as though to give him more space. When that didn’t help abate the feeling, her hips wriggled, the tiniest of movements -- it did hurt, just a little, but what overtook her mind more was the strangeness of something that she had never experienced before. As his hips sank toward hers, her mouth worked, small sounds breaking free. A few of them were of surprise, at the pain, at the awkward feeling, but also at how good it also felt.
“Oh, Nate...” She didn’t know what to say, if there should be anything she should say; was she supposed to move, or just lie there? Her small movements brought on new sensations, ones that sent little sparks of pleasure through her body, but she wasn’t sure how this was supposed to work.
Nathaniel responded with a toothy grin before he pushed himself further into her until he was fully in. He paused, letting her get used to the feeling and relax, and he eagerly tried to help her relax by pressing his lips to hers. Their tongues entwined for a brief moment as one of his hands slowly tangled itself into her hair. Mouth breaking away, he pressed his forehead to hers. “Darling, are you alright?”
She nodded, her face moving against his, eyes wide and watchful. “Yes, I’m fine.” Lungs inhaled to press her stomach against his, breasts crushed against his chest. “I’m fine, don’t stop,” she added, her voice a bare whisper as though anything louder would break the moment. Her hands wrapped his head, fingers sliding in his hair as she drew his mouth down for another kiss, one leg bending the knee in movement.
“All right, Juliet,” Nathaniel replied with another kiss followed by more kisses along her jawline and neck. He began to slowly pull back, his back muscles moving under his skin as he moved away from her and then reversed the motion and slid back into her. He let out a shuttering sigh and closed his eyes. She just felt so good. Tight, unbelievably tight, and so familiar. Something that he felt that he had experienced this with her before but...differently, somehow. Somewhere else. Not that Nathaniel was complaining. He groaned and repeated the motion as he buried his face into the pillow beside her head.
Her head fell back against the pulls, neck sloped away from him; her spine curved, mouth gaping wide between low, guttural moans before sinking teeth deeply into her lips. Though she had no experience in such things, the familiarity of the act was not overlooked -- it was though they had been apart for a very, very long time, cut into two separate halves and just now were rejoined. And yet there was still something missing, something that built up a wall between them to prevent a full union. Juliet made no mention of this, wisely realizing that to comment on a lack would surely sting Nathaniel’s pride; instead she buried herself under the feeling of him in her, on top of her, his hands straying over her body.
He slipped a hand under her shoulder, wrapping it around her torso and pulling her close to his chest, hugging her as he gently thrust himself into her. Shifting his knees, he began to push into her from a deeper angle, rubbing against her clit with each rock of his hips. “Hook your legs up around my hips if you can, darling,” Nathaniel whispered into Juliet’s ear with a panting breath. “Wrap your legs around my lower back, it might make it feel better for you.”
He pressed a sloppy kiss to her cheek, feeling that his forehead was beginning to break out in a light sweat from the exertion of their movements. Still, he held her close and watched her eyes as he pushed in and out of her, giving her an encouraging nod to try this particular position. Juliet followed his instructions, hesitantly lifting her legs one at a time to curl around his waist; his hand moved to snatch her legs and help move them into the pose. Her ankles hooked together, cinching her tightly around him and shifting their positioning -- the sudden change pulled a gasp from Juliet’s throat, making her nails dig into his skin. Her voice shuddered, louder than before, face registering an expression of pain even as she felt the beginnings of something quite different.
Nathaniel paused, his eyes never leaving Juliet’s face. He could see the register of pain but she hadn’t told him to stop, hadn’t said it hurt, and she didn’t pull away. Instead of repeating his cadence of questions, Nathaniel continued his movements at a slow pace. He pressed into her again at this slightly altered angle and sighed, closing his eyes and dropping his face onto her shoulder as her tightness nearly made him come.
“Oh, darling,” Nathaniel groaned as he repeated the motion. “You feel so good.” The feeling that there was something more which they were lacking was brushed to the side. She felt wonderful and Nathaniel wasn’t doing anything he hadn’t done before. What was lacking, he couldn’t help but think, was attached to when he became that ghostly apparition. The sensation that was near orgasmic when he would touch Juliet. That’s what they were missing. He pushed into her harder, trying to recall that feeling but quickly getting lost in the sensation of being inside of her.
In the new position, Juliet could do little more than cling to him, a grasp that became tighter and tighter as the sensation near her pelvis grew. Her breath quickened, and slowly she began to feel muscles in her form contract, starting low and spreading throughout her body -- it was a lot like when Nathaniel would make her come with his hand or his mouth, but more. Before she knew what she was doing, a scream broke out of her mouth, cascading over her tongue and into the air as she climaxed around him.
The contractions made her even tighter than before, bringing forth Nathaniel’s own yell as he came, his body going rigid for a moment and then relaxing just above her. Little pecks of his lips over her forehead, her chin, the tip of her nose, and her lips. He gently pulled himself out of her, slowly, and rolled to his side before pulling Juliet close to him once more and cradling her in his arms. “Hello,” he cooed with a quirky smiled. With one hand, he brushed her hair out of her face. “Are you all right, sweetheart?” She nodded, a smile on her lips, keeping her arms around him; she slid her grasp down to his waist, legs still tangled.
“Uh huh,” she whispered, her voice soft. She focused on her breathing for a moment, still adjusting to how quickly things had changed -- but she wouldn’t change any of it for anything. Juliet grinned widely, before turning into a worried expression. “Are you going to stay? You can stay, I just, I hope I don’t...I mean, I think we’ll both sleep fine. Please stay,” she finished, one hand rising up to brush his face.
Nathaniel turned his face to kiss her hand before grasping it with his own. “I’m sure we’ll sleep fine and if you should have a dream, I’ll be here to hold you until you calm down.” He smiled at her, an adoring gaze that he hadn’t quite shown before, and gave her a loud kiss. “I’ll happily stay with you for the night. What a wonderful way to spend Christmas.”
He pulled her closer once more, wrapping his arms around her naked frame and closing his eyes. Just a few moments of snuggling before the couple slipped out of bed, wrapped in blankets to snack on cookies and milk until they returned to the bedroom and quickly fell asleep in each other’s arms.
