He made an amused sound at the origin of the limeade, Simon was quiet for a bit longer as he took another sip, quite enjoying the tartness of the beverage. But the mention of the other guy's mother made him think of his own, and for a second, he had a flash of guilt at leaving them all like he had. But just as quickly as it had come, he pushed it away to the far recesses of his mind.
"I bet it's gonna take some time, but, if there's anything you need help with, let me know. I'm not working anywhere at the moment, so I've got free time on my hands when I'm not painting." Shoulders shrugged as though to say he didn't mind either way if Billy got a hold of him for anything. "Though I might get cranky if there are phone calls at 3am to get a fridge door unstuck." He cracked a grin then, hiding it moments later with a sip of limeade.
