"No time like the present to put theory into practice," Juliet replied, moving her feet to help them into the neon green flip-flops that were provided by the salon. She stayed seated, though, waiting for Serena to be finished before moving to the drying area.
"I mean, if you've seen what everyone else is doing wrong, then you can definitely not do it yourself. Or one would hope," she carefully retracted, unsure of her words. But that did nothing to douse the smile on her face. She did truly hope that things went well for Serena on her 'not-date'; it was the natural inclination of someone who was happy for others to be in such a state as well. Slowly, she rose from her seat, making sure to grab her shoes and purse, before pausing in the direction of chairs around the front lobby where there would be heating boxes to help dry their painted toes.
