Hello, neighbors. I have a dilemma.

I was invited to a black tie charity event very last minute (as in, less than an hour ago). For this Friday, the 30th. It's an AIDS foundation run by musicians and people in the music business, and I have to go for work. Problem is, I need a date for it. They invited plus one and I don't like going to these things stag.

So, if any of my beautiful female neighbors would like to fill the position, I am currently desperately seeking applicants. It is black tie, so I ask that you are dressed better than I will be. Dressed to be seen, if you will. I just need someone pretty to show up with, it's expected of me.

It's a dinner and silent auction, humanitarian awards given out, schmoozing, blah blah blah kind of thing. Dinner and drinks are on me (which means as much as you want of either) and a safe ride home, probably sometime around eleven. Earlier if we can manage. It starts at 8pm. The auction is over at midnight, but they call you if you won - and I have no intentions of staying until it's over.

And I won't even ask you to put out. Haha. No, but seriously, I'd just appreciate the favor of company for it. And I would definitely owe you one later for saving my ass.
