If I'm remembering right, you work for the local Youth Center, correct? I was wondering if your center has any fundraisers coming up or if there is anything you're in particular need of. I like to start the new year off right. I'm up in D5 if you want to reach me.

yeah, we could always use stuff. computers, basketballs, footballs, blank checks, rent money, an actual web site I could link people to when they want to donate, that kind of stuff. how do you want to do this? are you the kind of benefactor who likes to go pat the kids on their heads or do you just want to sign your name to a donation?

In all honesty, children and I don't usually see eye to eye so I would suggest finding a way to use my wallet that has me interfering with the children as little as possible. Unless you have a business or art sort of thing?

So, yes, long way of saying that my checkbook is open for your consultation.

ok I would like to consult with your checkbook. does your checkbook need me to buy it dinner first or can we go straight to first base?

My checkbook is not that kind of girl. I suggest trying Asti on her.

Seriously, though, would you be free some time early next week for an informal meeting? Bring a receipt book or something, please. I don't know how your Center handles donations but I know my account never seems to trust me without proof. Oh, the injustice of the non-believer.
