I kind of miss the crazy-ass beard I had going on. Though I'm glad that ended before I showed up to work wearing only a sheet.

Can we please, like, sink to the bottom of the ocean? Right now? There's a night dive next Saturday, with our name on it. The start is Marina Del Ray and the destination is Santa Monica Pier - provided that the weather cooperates, of course. Are you in?

I'm not sure if that's the official title yet. I should find out though, huh? She's great! Really funny and easygoing, not high maintenance. Oh, and beautiful - extremely so. I'm actually really ~~really really really~~ into her. We've been seeing each other about a month, I think? But it's always felt like I've known her awhile.

Damn. I personally was holding out for sheet time. Toga Tuesdays has a great ring to it. You could always try to grown your own beard out. I’m warning in advance: I'll randomly come by and tweak your chin all the time. I blame a childhood full of fun memories wreaking havoc on mall Santas by pulling on their beards.

Like you even need to ask! I’ll have to check my gear when I get home but I’m always down. If the weather stops acting so weird of course. My umbrella is officially off reserve status and is back sitting shotgun in my car.

Toga Tuesdays? You better be participating in that too, or else I'd feel like That Guy who showed up at a black tie affair wearing swim trunks and flip flops. I think having a beard like that at the Ocean Institute violates one or more health codes. People would be afraid my beard hair is infiltrating the coffee in the break room.

Girls don’t look good in togas. Or maybe it’s just me. I look like I just got out of bed and wrapped myself in a blanket. It should be sexy but I can't pull it off so we’ll leave the toga to you. I’ll man the camera! And your beard wearing just needs practice! Throw it over your shoulder. Like a hair flip, only from your chin. I think it’s as easy at it sounds. Maybe we should get you something to practice with.

I’m trying! I try to instill good passenger values in my umbrella but it’s a feisty one. Always getting out of the seat and flipping off other cars. Maybe you need to show it how it’s done.

Somehow I doubt that, but I'd really rather judge for myself - and I'm pretty sure you have no problem looking sexy in a sheet. A beard flip is practical. Maybe I should start growing dreadlocks too? We be jammin', mon.

Considering some of my exes, I think killer whales are an upgrade. And you know, I was all ready to tell you my (hopes and) dreams but now that you offered an alternative, let’s see you coax. Nicely.

Well since you pulled strings and asked so nicely I guess I can tell you. It’s actually not very exciting. The hype’s too high now. I just keep having the same dream of swimming. Sometimes to something but usually away, and always far below surface. I don’t ever have to come up for air. But more than that there’s… Like you know that feeling you get when you’re just lying in water? How light you feel? Now imagine being completely weightless. Just one with the waves. And it feels so real. Like I used to dream about flying and I swore I could feel my arms moving but these are way more vivid. It sounds completely out there and new age-y when I type it out but that’s what it was. Nothing bad~~, righ~~. Very boring.

Oh I think so, but there's only one way to find out.
