Dearest Sunshiny Olivia,

My good friend Nate picked the curse of our family Casper your brother up from the airport, at Billy's request, so you can rest assured that he wasn't stranded in LAX for very long. Or you've probably talked to him and worked things out by now, haven't you?

Also, I hope you haven't been frequenting graveyards at night without me. Are you going to be attending that open bar event with the ridiculously loud music? You should call me if you get too drunk to Don't wander off with a slimy STD factory, he'll take you into his apartment for I'd feel better if you became a nun What am I DOING Fuck

Pierce

My dearest ray of joy Pierce,

Billy and Simon are talking then? Good. They'd both starve without caretakers, you know, and I'm not exactly at the top of the list these days. As for working things out, I really suck at it, to be honest. Pointers? Funerary bouquets? Memoriam cards? Prepaid cemetery plot?

I found a new cemetery just yesterday. I told the haunts you said hi. They were unimpressed by your lack of personal attention. Told them you were making friends with the living cheerballs at Pax. How are you settling in?

Aura Olivia

Edit: Told Simon about you, but he's being shit about letting me pay for an art commission.

The loveliest rainbow Olivia,

Yes, they're talking. No worries there. And I do know, but my son is very resistant to the idea of me ensuring his lack of starvation. You'll be back at the top of the list soon. I could put in a good word for you, or at the very least, bribe him into talking to you by threatening him with baby photo exposure. If not that, then I do have it on authority that he has a soft spot for peanut butter cookies. Don't give up on him quite yet. You both are adults and you can work this out.

I'm settling in just fine, but it's never lonely here. It's tough being a therapist to dead people. Surely you understand. But I still need to take care of so many things, for instance, getting furniture. There's no theme right now, it's just...there's a couch and a table and that's all.

If I insisted to pay, that would be alright, wouldn't it?

Exquisite flower Pierce,

Abort on attempt to make Billy like me. It'll be like when your mother forces you to be friends with the geekiest kid in class, and you hate every minute of it. Trust me, as the geekiest kid in class I know the scenario. Have devised plan: Will poke him repeatedly, and eventually he'll realize I am not trying to kill him.

Do not, I repeat, do not let the happy people decorate for you. We'd have to be enemies forever then, you and I. You would miss me, and it would be tragic.

You can try to purchase the artwork yourself? I don't know if that would work, though. Simon's been really down lately, guilty over his brother's death, and more than a little freaked out by his newfound mutant sister.

Have the happy people corrupted you yet? I must know.

Majestic Unicorn Olivia,

He already likes you, I'm quite sure! But poking him gets the message across, so you ought to stick with that until he remembers he likes you. Sometimes he's forgetful.

Oh dear god. Would they put yellow smiley faces on the ceiling or leave those inspirational posters with kittens on them? No thanks. I would miss you, so I am actually considering going with a cryptkeeper theme to get you to visit the old man here on occasion.

I'll attempt that. Maybe creating art would cheer him up too. What, you mean you're not freaked out by him? I already am, actually. Hrrrm.

Not yet, my dear! I'm already pretty corrupted, however, considering I was on the Titanic when it sank so it would take a lot to get to me. Are you going out to consume alcohol at the open bar with your peers tonight?

Sparkling diamond Pierce,

If you go with a crypt-keeper theme, I will bring you some appropriately spooky candelabras as house warming gifts and scythe - only to use as a conversation piece, of course.

Why would I be scared of Simon? He's entirely sweet and too good for this world. You know the kind - good heart, beautiful, moodily fantastic. No, I'm not freaked by him. I love him, and he needs me. He and Billy have a lot in common, you know, underneath the surface.

You were on the Titanic? So was I. Did you steal that last spot in the lifeboat from me? I thought I remembered you from somewhere.

About the bar - I have to consider the amount of pink and joy that is going to be there. Do you know anyone going?

Olivia - who is as pure as the freshly fallen snow,

A scythe, really? Very tempting. What sorts of conversations would that elicit? I can only imagine.

Good for this world, that can't be true. My premonitions are hardly ever wro-- He loves you too, I'm sure. You're more lovable than you give yourself credit for. He and Billy have a lot in common, you say? That's very interesting. Must be why they're such kindred spirits. Ugh

That most certainly was not me! I would have slid over on the makeshift raft instead of hogging it all. I wouldn't want you to plunge to your icy death.

There's usually not much pink and joy in a bar but if you go and [...] need a ride back or anything? Give me a call. I'll be at home entertaining ghosts. And I don't know anyone going, no. The band seems [...] interesting.

Pierce - who is mistaking driven snow for undriven snow,

I can see you answering the door with a scythe in hand, actually. Handsome, mysterious and powerful? Ask the ghosts, but I think it'd be a good look for you. Is Mrs. Pierce in the picture?

Please, don't EVER say that I'm lovable again. I strive very hard to be entirely unlovable. You should take pride in Billy, though, because he is lovable. Entirely sweet. Simon is tantrum-prone, but he's fantastic once you see past that defense mechanism.

You're offering to pick me up if I get too sloshed to walk a straight line? Careful, that was almost paternal - or guilt ridden from your Titanic antics, which have recently come to light.

Olivia - pure as the freshly plowed snow,

Well. I've answered the door with a sword in my hand, but never a scythe. So I suppose there's a first time for everything. Mrs. Pierce is not in the picture, actually. We're divorced because she didn't want to be married to a man who is handcuffed to his office desk anymore, not that I blame her.

You've failed, sorry to tell you. But yes, Billy's quite lovable. We were young when he was born but he turned out well, so I'm very proud. Tantrums as a defense mechanism? I see. Do you study psychology in your spare time?

Call it what you wish, but if you get too sloshed to walk in a straight line I'd rather you call me than leave with some guy with a bar through his nose. [# goes here]

I'm naturally gifted, 'Uncle' Pierce, I don't need to study psychology. You're used to worrying about Billy, huh? So it comes natural?

I will call if I am in a state to be accosted, and I will allow you to come to my rescue with an army of the deceased at your back.

I'm going to see if Simon wants to go. I'll let you know if it's a HUGE failure. Expect drunken texting.

And psychic too, apparently I see, I see. Very intriguing. You seem very astute, my lovely rainbow. Well, granted, I worry about Billy a lot more these days. Nearly losing him was terrifying. I know he's an independent person and he's worked his ass off to stay alive, to be quite frank. But I just don't want him to end up paralyzed again.

Thank you, much appreciated. I will be there if needed, ghost army and all. We'll all be carrying scythes.

I love drunken texting. You two have a nice time. What apartment is he, by the way?
