At Pax Letale, an awakening has begun. As these gods rediscover themselves and each other, the seemingly invisible but ubiquitous management tracks each of them quite closely, and the very building itself seems to have an agenda of its own. And as the gods made humans in their own image - or humans made them in theirs - so will the the behavior of the people of Pax turn as dark as their deities. Blood, strife, sex, petty plots, torture - even murder will wind their ways into Pax Letale.

Hi all! I love the fact that the building has its own forum; it seems like a great way to foster a sense of community here.

Anyway, I thought I'd introduce myself - I'm Zarina Macey, but you can call me Zara. My domestic partner/other half/one true love, Navid, and I have just moved into D1, and are still getting things all sorted out and organized. (Thank God he's good at those parts - LOL)

I'm a full-time freelance artist-slash-graphic designer, and a part-time art teacher for the Inglewood school district. I freaking love all my kids. Also, In-N-Out Burger and Baja tacos (but I miss Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies). I'm not too familiar with the area, so if anybody knows where the nearest food co-op/farmer's market/independently owned bookstore is, that would be fantastic.

Also, in case it's not too early for a shameless plug, if you need any commercial art made - book design, flyers, brochures, posters, or any variety of design tasks - let me know. You will totally get a neighbor discount (and if you're doing it for a non-profit/cause I can get behind, I'll do it at cost).

Finally, I love art (and science!) museums, but also poetry readings, concerts, swimming, and all kinds of fun things, and making new friends. So let's start community building!

Talk to you all soon,

Zara ♥

Hello everyone. It looks like Zara did a fine job introducing me, so I'll spare you all the small talk. My name is Navid Arzani. I'll be in D1 when I'm not at work, and I'm looking forward to meeting my new neighbors as time permits. I run a few growing civil and religious rights advocacy organizations, most notably an interfaith education/tolerance program. You'll probably get tired of seeing announcements about our events, but you can ignore those easily enough. For those who don't ignore them, we can always use volunteers. Send me a message whenever you're interested, and we'll find something for you to do.

How are you faring, Brighid? I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier I was going to be your neighbor. Things have been a bit hectic since Zara and I decided to make the move. You'll have to come up and visit when you have a spare moment.

What's this I hear about a dinner party? Let me know what we should bring. I hate showing up somewhere empty handed.

It's been a while. I was sorry to hear about your father's passing. I'd like to stop by when you're available; we have a lot of catching up to do, it seems.
