So Greed or at least Need was what was fueling this man to do what he did. That made her feel a little better, it meant he might not do it out of pleasure. Those were the ones she really had to worry about. They were the ones that would take their time. Aelana would much rather die quickly and in a fight. She wondered if Uri's contract would have to do with her dying slowly and painful. Surely she had not pissed him off that much too quickly.
He smiled, he laughed, he had a human soul, well.. almost human soul. That was a relative term in her line of work. "I can do something better, I can show you. I have files, documantations. Uri killed a friend of mine he hired, it is how I got on his trail." The man he killed wasn't the best of people, truth be told. Aelana did not ask who he killed or how many he killed and they got along just fine. But he was helping her with another case when he suddenly up and vanished. She followed the trail, uncovered what Uri was doing, and now she was in this tight spot.
Aelana stopped moving but still held her gun up and pointed at him. If he did make any sudden movements she could shoot and while he might not be killed hopefully he would be wounded. She just kept telling herself she was not going to die this night, or any night. Scent, that meant he was a were of some sort. Goody for her, he could smell truth, and she was such a horrible liar anyways. "I always found that unfair. You know my name and I don't know yours. If you kill me, why should it matter that I know your name?"
