Who: Ilya OT Aelana Where: Albania When: 15 yrs ago What: Bear is sent after a Ghoul by a real ghoul to kill her
It was close to midnight, when the tall dark haired man caught a scent of the female, he knew to be the one he had been contracted to kill. He had specific instructions, had been watching her for a good few weeks, watched and studied how she moved and how she fought. She was good, probably a good bit stronger than he at the time, but Ilya had other things that worked in his favour. He was tall, but extremely graceful on his feet, due to the years he’d been trained in the circus, years of watching the adult female bears, knowing how to move to dodge them. And now here, in Albania, being trained in various martial arts, of which he picked up extremely quickly.
Plus Ilya had an inbuilt patience, where he would watch people for sometimes months before doing that which he was to be paid to do. He got to learn their habits, got to watch how they conducted themselves. Just as he was aware that the blonde was something other than human, that the vampire she tended to travel around with, was not merely an ordinary vampire. A strange couple, stranger still that the female seemed to be almost as strong as the vampire that seemed to begrudgingly follow her around. Still Ilya kept himself from sight, half expecting her vampire companion to appear. He didn’t, so the game was on.
The woman seemed agitated about something, Ilya didn’t really care what it was, and wasn’t bothered to find out. The vampire, was the cause for such, and was the reason that Aelana was being put somewhat off her normal cautious behaviour. She’d allowed him some freedom and he was once more sending her visions of the kind she would rather not have in her mind. Oh Jasper had promised to behave, he always did, and sometimes he managed to do just as he said, but more frequently than not, she had to put up with the sort of thing he was doing right now. Unpleasant, uncomfortable thoughts, visions and sights, that Aelana would rather be spared.
She was moving into the rougher areas, the places that not even the police or the army would go, she was confident, yet preoccupied, which was probably why she was less interested in the fact that something could be following her, than where she was going. Not that Ilya was in the least bit obvious, despite the fact he stood at nearly seven foot tall. As she moved, she became aware of a number of men, three or four coming at her from several angles. So the fight was on, Aelana looked somewhat like an avenging ghost to the on looking Bear, he didn’t step in and wouldn’t have if it weren’t for another coming out of the shadows, lifting his arm getting ready to throw a knife at her head. Ilya swooped down then seemingly out of nowhere, breaking the man’s neck, as Aelana dealt with the foe that had been attacking her.
A face off of kinds was beginning.
“I have been sent to kill you.” Typical Ilya, he didn’t care about what anyone thought. Plus he’d been instructed to tell the woman anyway. “By Uri Kadilivoic. He says he’s sorry he could not be here himself, yet he is sure you will not mind.”
