Bee did not miss a beat and took her hand. The pair exchanged a firm handshake, was for Bee was an indication that the woman was not a wimp and already was favored a little more than most. The cat was not going to make a big show about sizing Zephia up, but it was the first time that she had actually had seen the other blonde up close. It was fair--well, not fair, but believable--that Bee had accused Jeb of sleeping with her. Zephia was a pretty hot thing herself. Jealous? Pssh, absolutely not. Threatened? Well, maybe just a wee bit.
Someone was walking up behind her, one of the younger guys that was supposed to be manning the inside--as in, he had to sit and watch her stuff. "Jimbo, what are you doing out here?" Bee asked as she turned just enough to glare over her shoulder at him. He grinned as he looked at Zephia and Bee growled just enough for it to be audible to human ears. "Get. Your. Ass. Back. In. There." Bee almost seemed like that character in movies, the leader of some bad-ass group that was the tiniest person but had huge guys around them all of the time. While Bee was not technically the leader, she was a bit of the boss at the moment, seeing as how Spyder and Chops were off somewhere, and Tess was... well, not there.
Back to Zephia, she paused a moment and ran a hand back through her hair. The sun was beaming down and while it felt nice on the skin, her eyes were squinting and Bee was slowly but surely beginning to think about wrinkles and looking like an old bag. "He's not around right now. I think they're clearing some stuff down on Fifth and Jackson." She gave a little shrug, not ever really sure where they would all end up once they were out and about. All she knew was that he came home sweaty, dirty, and tired, and for once in their lives, she actually did not mind playing the little housewife role and making him dinner.
"Can chill out here for a bit if you want. He might be stopping back in with the truck soon." They had a pick-up truck that they were using to haul stuff back and forth from the yard, but she was going to want it to haul their stuff from inside their office to the new place. Bee turned and wave a hand for her to follow along. "I knew who you were. Well, sorta. Jeb told be a little about you and it's good that he did. Any other blonde that came her looking for him, I'd probably knock a bitch out." The tone of her voice indicated that Bee was not joking.
