Kinda the same. Not as fulfilling in the instant sense that we get out on the street. But in a different way it's more. You know it's for Justice and they're going to get what they deserve if they do the crime. And you get a few cool toys with it.
Police Academy is pretty harsh time wise, you won't have any free time while it's happening for six months. You'll be to tired, or being trained in the station at the same time. I went for station training simultaneously to get it done faster. But I was used to military life so it wasn't much different for me than living at the SPD base.
