I don't know how tempted he was, but in the end he did the right thing, that's what matters. He's stronger than he knows, I just hope he can even start to believe it now.
I understand what it's like to believe in something. In someone. I will never agree with what you did or what you believed, but if I take a step back, try to see it from an outsiders perspective, I can sort of understand it. More than I understand the idea of creating a monster because it would be funny, or simply to add a new weapon to the arsenal.
