It was Lydia's call in what she wanted to focus on. Sara was more than happy to try and teach as much as she could, but she didn't want to push anyone to do anything they weren't interested in. Some people would argue you should know how a weapon is made and works before you use one. In the end it was knowing how to use one that would save your ass in a fight, but this situation was different.
"I only have so many arrows at the moment. But once I get a few more made you can try your hand at the bow. It's pretty crappy quality, you'd have better luck with a professional one, but I wanted something fast. It's crude, but it can used." The first bow she had to make had been a hell of a lot worse. Her definition of crude was pretty judgmental, but it was nothing like the gorgeous bows that Ollie, Thea and Nyssa carried with them.
Sara pointed to a small pile of tree shafts that she had collected. "I'll be starting with those shoots. The leaves and twins need to be cleared from them first. We'll need a fire as well, so if you want to get started on the the twigs, I'll get the fire going." It was admirable that Lydia wanted to learn. She didn't appear to be much along the lines of a fighter. That dress she was wearing wasn't going to do her any favors. Hopefully there was someone who was decent at making clothes, that definitely was not Sara's forte.
