Mara nearly pulled away when he touched her but she didn't, she let him put his arm around her and it felt good. Telling her story hadn't been easy for her but she was glad that she'd done it. At least he hadn't reacted badly and it didn't take a huge leap for her to figure out who he was referring to. "You're talking about Natasha, aren't you?" she asked. "I've seen the two of you together, she obviously got over not trusting you." Mara gave him a little smile.
"I keep reminding myself that here I can be me except for the fact that apparently there are books out there that talk about me. Peter Parker mentioned them," she shook her head. "I can't believe that but I know it's got to be true. He didn't tell me anything though about my future which is just as well, I don't need to know. I need to focus on living right here where I am because whatever that future is, it's not going to happen here." That might be a good thing, she had no idea but judging from her present at home, Mara couldn't imagine it turning out that great.
"Well, first Luke has to come back so I can tell him," she laughed. "and yeah, I think he does have at least half a brain. Maybe a little less that half but he's got enough sense to come in out of the snow at least." Mara grinned, remembering how much he had hated the blizzard.
