"That she is," Phil replied, obvious affection for Natasha in his tone. "I've had the pleasure of working with her for a long time. She's good people." He quieted though, as she told him about Luke. Phil did remember that Luke Skywalker - how cool was that? - but he hadn't realized that Mara was from the same world. That made things interesting, but he kept that to himself because this wasn't the time.
He caught the fact that Mara didn't particularly like the woman she was talking about, but Phil wasn't sure who'd been sleeping with Luke. She needed some kind of comforting though, so Phil put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her toward him slightly to give her a half hug. "He was a link to home, however good or bad that is," Phil reasoned.
"It's understandable that you'd be missing him." She was allowed to feel whatever it was that she was feeling, and Phil wanted to make sure she knew that. "Did you like him?"
