Johanna was a runner, too. Not because she enjoyed it, but because it let her stop focusing on everything else -- and being able to not focus on everything for a little while was pretty damn fantastic, even if the things that were going on weren't exactly bad ones here. Being able to let go for a while was exactly what she needed sometimes -- to let go in a different way than the usual, that was.
And it kept her in shape. That never hurt. Not that she'd need to fight here, she knew the gods would keep them safe... but at the same time, she figured it wouldn't hurt to be ready just in case she was ever needed in their service. Because you never knew.
It wasn't uncommon to see another person or two out for a run, to give a nod or a wave and then keep on going. So when she saw someone else out for a run, she lifted a hand in greeted. "Hey," she called, coming to a stop. She needed to catch her breath anyway -- she'd been running long enough that it was time.
