"You are beautiful," she said. "and not everyone shows a lot of skin. I know you've never seen me when I'm not pregnant but I don't. It's not me but y es, styles have changed and it's more accepted to show more skin. I come from the future though and in the future, there's kind of a happy medium I guess. I think it's so noticeable because of the fact that it's hot and people tend to shed what they're wearing." At least that's the way it seemed to Christine.
"This is going to sound incredibly cheesy and I know it but how you look isn't nearly as important as the person that you are," she said. "I wouldn't want to be with someone who only liked me because he liked my body. I'm tall for a woman in my time and when I was in school, boys didn't like to ask me out because I was taller than they were. It used to bother me but then I realized that it doesn't matter in the least. If they can't get past the way I look, what good are they?"
