It seemed too good to be true, being somewhere she didn't have to fight or watch out for strigoi. Being somewhere she wasn't wanted or needed, where she could just relax and have fun. That had never really been her life before. A part of her felt guilty for even wanting it, but she also thought it was nice.
"I've never paid that much attention to the stars," she admitted. "I don't know if I'd even notice if they were different here." It probably didn't matter that much exactly where they were, anyway. Wherever it was, they were cut off from home, so it might as well be another world.
