"I thought she was shitting me, you know?" Rose offered. The island was pretty, that much she could see, but she wasn't sure if she could call it paradise, yet. It was compared to the cramped cell she'd just been in, where the walls all seemed to be closing in closer and closer the longer she sat there, but there was a lot she didn't know, yet.
"What's your idea of paradise?" she asked, curious. Rose wasn't even sure how to answer that, herself. Right now, it was maybe a real meal and a hot shower and the freedom of the open air. She never wanted to be stuck in a cage again.
