WHO: Ivy Lynn and OTA WHAT: Enjoying the beach now that the snow is gone WHEN: Early morning September 1 WHERE The beach WARNINGS: None right now but will update as needed STATUS: Open/In Progress
Ivy was very glad that the snow was gone. She was no stranger to snow, growing up in New York City, but even the worse blizzard she'd ever seen was nothing like this. At least it was over and they could all go back to their lives (and their shelters). Ivy liked her fellow volunteers for the most part but being shoved into a building with them for a week was more than enough.
She'd been helping with cleaning up around the Community Center earlier in the week but now that was almost done and she work up early on Thursday morning and decided to take a walk on the beach. As she let the surf wash around her ankles, Ivy looked down, hoping to find some seashells. Whenever she saw one, she'd stop to pick up, humming to herself as she walked along enjoying the afternoon.
