Pepper spent her mornings at the community center, working on her projects and getting things ready for the next few babies to arrive. This morning was no different. Up early, working hard, and feeling accomplished for what she was doing for the parents of the community, a group of people which she would soon join.
She was bent over a table organizing her squares of cloth into sets of two to be sewn together to make diapers, when she heard the voice from the doorway. Pepper turned her head towards the newcomer, a grin crossing her face. She straightened, a hand going to her lower back from having been hunched over too long. "I'd be disappointed if you didn't."
