Oliver noticed her glance at his tattoos but the story behind them was far too long and not one he liked to tell. His closest friends didn't know the story behind all of them although Sara probably came the closest to knowing the truth.
"1924?" he said, surprised. "you must feel a very long way from home here. Not just out of your country but out of your own time. I knew people came here from other times and places but most everyone I've talked to so far has been from around this time or a little bit into the future." All he knew about the twenties was what he'd learned in school and since he hadn't paid a lot of attention while he was there, it was safe to say that Oliver really didn't know much about the era at all. Except prohibition and he didn't know if they'd had that in England or not.
