"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Crawley," he said and suddenly realizing that he wasn't wearing a shirt, he reached for the t-shirt he'd discarded and put it on. She had a title and judging from her dress, she was not from this era so it was probably frowned upon to walk around shirtless. Despite what some people might say, Oliver did have some social skills.
"Yes, I have," he returned to her question. "I was on a boat with my father and some others, we ran into a storm and the boat broke apart. I ended up on an island, the only survivor." Which wasn't technically true but it was a very long story and he wasn't going to bring it up with someone he didn't know, not to mention the fact that it was something he didn't like to talk about in the first place. "There turned out to be some other people on the island but I didn't know about them for several weeks."
He smiled at her. "I take it that you're from England?"
