WHO: Oliver Queen and OTA WHAT: Putting the finishing touches on his shelter WHEN: Sunday afternoon August 14 WARNINGS: None that I can think of but will update if necessary STATUS: Open, in Progress
His shelter was almost done and Oliver was glad of it. The temporary shelter had been fine but he just felt better with his own space. It was ironic that the sills he'd had to learn on Lian Yu were coming in handy on another island, one that had a very different purpose but at least they were good for something. Oliver had made the shelter from some wood and was finishing up the roof today, then it would be time to move in. It was a little bigger than some of the other shelters because he didn't like being in tight spaces and put it fairly close to the community center so he could take advantage of the electricity which he needed to talk to Barry and Cisco about.
When he'd finished the last bit of the roof, he hopped down and stepped back to survey his handiwork. "Not bad," he said, wiping his brow before putting his hands on his hips. "At least it's a roof over my head even if it wouldn't win any prizes for architecture." It never occurred to him that he might not be alone until he heard a noise behind him and turned around to see someone theree. "Hello," he said. "I promise I don't usually talk to myself."
